A growing Cape Town-based financial services business is looking for a commercially minded CA(SA) to step into a Financial Manager role with genuine strategic exposure, leadership visibility, and long-term growth potential.

This is not a “keep the lights on” finance position. The environment is fast-moving, entrepreneurial, and highly analytical, requiring someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building financial models, influencing decision-making, and partnering closely with leadership.

You’ll work directly alongside an experienced CFO and gain exposure across strategic finance, forecasting, IFRS reporting, treasury, risk, tax, funding structures, business modelling, and corporate finance activities.

Requirements:

• CA(SA) — non-negotiable
• Minimum 3 years post-articles experience
• Strong IFRS and financial reporting knowledge
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical ability
• Advanced financial/business modelling capability, or the aptitude to quickly develop it
• Cape Town-based candidates only

Advantageous:

• Financial services exposure
• Experience working with large data sets and modelling tools
• Experience in fast-paced or high-growth environments
